Nice cultural center, with a great (but touristy)luau...if you're gonna go to one, this is the place.

Driving around the island is one of te most beautiful activities you can do; other than renting a car, it's probably one of the most inexensive too!

Shopping; once was the largest "outdoor" shopping center. Be warned, LOTS of tourists, but tons of shops, ranging from inexpensive - reasonable - boutique.

HUGE swap meet..."Hawaii's Best Bargain" - a favorite, must-see/go place. "At the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet, you can find discounts on a wide selection of high quality products from clothing, accessories, Hawaiian souvenirs, pre-packaged ethnic foods, fine jewelry and vintage antiques. Beautifully handcrafts products and exclusive art pieces are made and sold by the artist themselves, which truly make great gifts for yourself or that special someone."

Great little marketplace on the water. If you're lucky, you may be able to catch a local reggae band at the lower bar/restaurant.

Diamond Head Park - great hike that is short, ending with fantastic view.

Great place for snorkeling, but be warned, LOADS of tourists (better get there early! - we're talking 6:30am-7am.

Shopping; more of a local mall, smaller and more lo-key than Ala Moana.

Beautiful, unique mountain views! Not to mention the great bay on the "Windward" side of the island.

Not your ordinary Long's Drugs - in Honolulu, these stores are quite distinct, carrying local favorite items.
