GREENSBORO WEDDING IN MARCH
March, 2008 in Greensboro"We have only been living in Georgia for less than a year - coming from the Mid-west, so our guests came in from all over . . . Indiana, Iowa, Ohio, No. Carolina, Florida. We wanted to show them WHY we chose this location to start our new lives together, by offering them a "vacation" of 3-day activities to explore our new area. Athens to check out UGA, shopping in Madison, golfing at Reynolds, southern BBQ at the house and an absolutely beautiful outdoor wedding by the lake. We had a small, intimate wedding with those closest to us - about 45 friends & family. Very simple and non-traditional. Didn't even have a wedding cake . . . had a candy bar instead!!! Wouldn't change a thing!! There were tornadoes & heavy rains whipping through the area the weekend before . . . but as soon as our guests arrived, the clouds cleared and the sun shined the entire time!! God was definitely looking down on us and giving his blessing! :-)"
