"We live in the St. Pete Beach area and love to share it with our friends and family who come to visit. Most of our guests were from out of town which gave us the opportunity to give them a destination wedding without us (bride and groom) having to travel. The Floating Chapel compounded the fun and "get-away" feeling for everyone. Our reception room at the Don CeSar also had a VERY large outdoor terrace that people flocked to for appetizers and jazz. We made sure to set a date in the spring before the end of May, rainy season. You could not have asked for more beautiful weather. We are truly always living a dream in paradise!"

Howard, our DJ, was great! He kept me (the bride) informed throughout the night of what was happening next (it was all such a blur, I forgot)and even came downstairs with appetizers for the groom and I while we waited to be announced into the reception. He has a vast knowledge of music and a huge collection, if he didn't have it, he made sure he got it for me.

Jessica- our coordinator, was a great help and very easy to talk to, get response from. The Chapel is beautiful and unique. Our guests were so amazed and really enjoyed touring around the Bay after the ceremony. I would not have had my ceremony anywhere else. Friends and family came from all over the country and have all told me they will never forget that experience.

The Don is the Don. Food was excellent, staff great. I was so worried that the reception room and terrace would not be set up on time or to my liking- I could not have done it better myself. They took great care in creating my beautiful, elegant dream while we went to a Chapel at another location for the ceremony. The venue really should get 5 stars except for the lack of communication regarding other events taking place on the same day. We were unable to take pictures in many of the locations around the resort that we had planned with our photographer. Our honeymoon suite was awesome! This hotel is very expensive, keep that in mind because the expenses can be extreme.
