Restaurant
Charley's Crab
456 S Ocean BlvdPalm Beach, FL, USA
No matter which of the dining rooms you sit in, you'll be delighted by the incredible food served at Charley's. Situated just across from the beach, the restaurant offers ocean views from the lounge and delicious seafood throughout. The menu changes frequently, capitalizing on what's freshest. The catch of the day can be grilled, blackened, broiled, or sauteed, and the raw bar offers oysters, clams, and crab claws. You'll also find terrific Dover sole, filet mignon, broiled lobster, and Maryland crab cakes. At lunch, a selection of sandwiches, salads, and pastas figures more prominently, and there's even a bento box available. The well-stocked bar offers great wines, single-malt scotches, and cognacs.
E R Bradley's Saloon
104 S Clematis StWest Palm Beach, FL, USA
Once a private gambling establishment in Palm Beach, Bradley's now sits at the base of Clematis Street near the intracoastal waterway. This local favorite is especially popular with business types and Palm Beach families, who come to enjoy the familiarity of the hometown crowd and partake of the great food. In the evenings, once the dinner rush has died down, the night really begins to take hold. DJs spin Top 40 and beach music, and bar-goers head to the floor and dance with abandon. Theme nights add to the revelry, and four bars guarantee that no one goes thirsty. If you're in the mood to drink, socialize, and boogie, stop over any night, and you'll see the camaraderie that develops.

If you're determined to hit the sand in Palm Beach, this venue is probably your best bet. Given the community's exclusive nature, public access to beaches isn't a priority, so Midtown is a rare luxury. In recent years, reclamation of sand has enlarged the beach, adding space for visitors and locals and nesting areas for sea turtles. Metered parking can be found in the vicinity, but during the busy season, spaces are often hard to find. So, enjoy the wide-open beauty of the shores.
