"7 piece band from Boston- excellent!! A little expensive but if you want a guarantee that people will be dancing all night long, this is the band! No one ever sat down!! Their music is fantastic."
Florist:
La Bella Rose
1005 High StBlock Island, RI, United States
"One of the few on-island florists, we had a tough time nailing down our contract- it was revised several times but in the end was perfect. I had described my vision to her and she recreated it just beautifully. I got so many compliments on the flowers - this aspect of the wedding was extremely important to me and I was so satisfied- the centerpieces, tent poles, etc. were exquisite."

"If I could give Darcy 100 stars I would!!! Based out of FL, she was with me every step of the way. We must have emailed thousands of times to get everything perfect, she designed our wedding monogram for us, did our programs, invites, welcome packets, and every piece of printed material. SHE IS PHENOMENAL. To anyone that will listen I recommend her whole heartedly."
Ceremony:
St Andrew
"Block Island's only Catholic Church. Like other churches there are some strict rules regarding ceremonies, music, etc. and the priest is really not very helpful or overly charismatic. However, if you want to get married in a catholic church on BI, this is your only option!"
Reception:
The Sullivan House
"Spectacular spectacular spectacular. Executed flawlessly, the reception, the cocktail hour, everything. The house itself could use some updating but that is part of it's charm. Wedding-wise we could not have picked a more beautiful location. The quality of service and food and EVERYTHING was top-notch."
Sunday Brunch:
The National
"Flat rate of $7.50 per guest, really nice spread of english muffins, cereal, fruit, etc. We did a casual 2 hour brunch and it was perfect for people to stop by for a bite before jumping on the ferry home."
Beach:
Ballard's Beach
Liquor Store:
Liquor Store
After Party:
McGovern's
"We all showed up at McGovern's and the place was hopping! Perfect place for an afterparty, great DJ, great crowd, etc. We did not officially host an event here but it was a great meeting up spot for after the reception."
Grocery:
Island Grocery
Welcome Cocktail Party:
The Spring House
"Wonderful!! We did a 90 minute meet and greet fRiday night after our rehearsal dinner. They set out beautiful appetizers and we had our own bar. This was a big hit with our guests and enabled us to say hi to everyone and welcome them properly to the island. A little tough to get in touch wtih Danielle, the events coordinator, at times, but in the end everything came together!"
Shopping/Hotels:
Water Street
