First Congrats on your engagement! We LOVED the Rooftop for our reception! We spent a lot of time looking for places and it was the best priced for what we received. Wednesday one of the owners there took care of everything I asked. (and trust me I had a lot of little details!) The food was so amazing people are still talking about it! I have read the reviews too and I have no idea what some of those people are talking about. Not only did we have the reception there but on our 2 week honeymoon we ate there 4 times! OK maybe 5 and everytime was great! My husband and I have a lot of foodies in our family and being from right outside NYC we have eaten at some amazing places and Rooftop was right up there with them. The chef and part owner Brendan not only was friendly and accommodating but he cooks an amazing crab bisque! Norman, Wednesday's husband and the other owner was happy to help with any request. I am positive that our wedding was such a success because we chose to have it at the Rooftop Cafe! We were 75 people and we closed the place down for the night...great choice for us! (our family likes to cut loose!) lol By the way check out the desert restaurant Better than Sex...Nice couple owns it and amazing deserts! Congrats on your daughter's wedding! I had an amazing DJ, Jay Floyd, The Islands DJ. He was affordable, understanding, and I got everything I wanted and more! He is a great guy! He comes highly recommended! My cake was actually a cup cake , cake. They were the BEST cupcakes ever! Moist and delicious! We used Cakes by Karol and we were very happy with her! We will be ordering from her for our 1st wedding anniversary! Flowers were done by Mama's Flowers and even though they did mess up my order the flowers were fresh and very nice. I would still recommend them. on an Island that size you need to make sure everything comes in fresh and stays that way. Mama's may have messed up but everything still looked nice. Abracadabra did my photo/video....Video was great! Photos were pricey and not a lot for your money. They were a good quality but I never saw proofs they decided for me. I think they may have been the only thing I changed about my wedding and just the photos. good luck !

Congrats to you! Isn't Wednesday great?! Please tell her hello from us! For the ceremony I used a basic format that I had seen a million times at weddings and then catered it to fit our needs and wants. I also talked with the officiant and asked her what she normally did and then added stuff. (our own vows, a poem read by my cousin, and we had 5 people on either side of the wedding party so arranging them we decided what we wanted) I made my own programs (staples rules!) and asked some close friends to go to the beach early to make sure everything was set up (we had chairs delivered) Our wedding officiant also was at the beach that day and made sure everything went smoothly. I didn't feel a need for a coordinator but a lot of the officiants also double as that as well. Just make sure you go over stuff in your head and write EVERYTHING you want written down way before so you can just relax the day of. As for transportation we used Old Town Trolley to get everyone from the beach to Rooftop. It was really fun and different for our guests. It just made our wedding a more "unique" expirence. Of course we did 2 trips since we had over 70 people. Hope this helps and I did a TON of research so if you need any more help feel free to email me again! Good Luck I'm sure it will be great!
