ASHLEY AND YURBIN'S WEDDING
December, 2007 in Palm City
"The Treasure Coast area of Florida is smaller, so it often gets outshined by the larger Miami-Dade area. This means more legwork to find your vendors and less competition between vendors.
Being a born-and-raised local (although planning from out-of-town) helped in those areas, but I could see how other brides would get frustrated as they tried to plan."
Ceremony: Holy Redeemer Catholic Church
Reception: Monarch Country Club
Ceremony:
Holy Redeemer Catholic Church
2936 SW Mapp RdPalm City, FL, United States

"Catholics should already know that the process for getting married in the Church is a long one. Be prepared for a year long preparation process-- from first meeting with the priest to getting the tribunal's final approval. A Catholic ceremony is much easier if you are getting married in your home parish, so just keep that in mind and have plenty of patience. Holy Redeemer is a beautiful church and most of the staff/volunteers are delightful to work with-- especially Mary (wedding coordinator for the church), Stan (music director), and Father Kasparek."
Reception:
Monarch Country Club

"Joanna at the Monarch is fantastic! I only gave them four stars (instead of 5) because they ran out of scotch when told from the very beginning that a large portion of our guests would drink scotch and nothing else. Other than that small detail, Joanna made certain that everything was perfect. From the entrance to the bar and cocktail hour, to dinnner and dessert, not a single thing was overlooked."
