Ann, your daughter is lucky to have you! Thank you for your good wishes. I'm happy to share our experience:

River City Brewing was great. We had a couple of hiccups the night of (I did a seated dinner but didn't do place cards and instead went for color coded pins so some people got the wrong entree and a couple didn't get food at all but I heard all that after we got back from the honeymoon) but everything that didn't get done right was quickly fixed and I didn't have to deal with anything but having fun.

I really liked that the venue had so much charm and they provided linens and centerpieces so that really helped my budget. They told me many people pot to rent different chairs or bring in their own centerpieces so you could if you wanted but white napkins and hurricane lanterns were perfect for me...and FREE (well, included)!

The food was delicious and since we are Jacksonville residents, we could go back and have dinner on our anniversary which is a nice concept.

RCB did all the set up and clean up and worked nicely with my other vendors. We had approximately 70 people in the Bridge Room and were packed but comfortable for around $3500. I would defintely recommend them!

"The room was super nice for an airport hotel, they let my fiance check in early so when we got there at 11 pm we weren't stuck at the desk we could go straight to the room AND they even made us special breakfast to go since we left earlier than the continental breakfast began."
