Hi Ann,

The weather was fairly hot, but not a deal breaker at all! The zoo was absolutely fantastic! We loved it, and all the guests said it was the best wedding location and event they had ever been to. We had three or four large fans(rented) placed throughout the range of the jaguar- where our tables were located. this helped out with air flow and with the heat in the early part of the evening. The food was fantastic, they did a really marvelous job and catered to our wishes of dishes very well. The zoo reception when we had ours, was not able to begin sooner than 7pm, so by this time, it is much cooler- the sun has gone down for the most part. August might be a different story with the humidity than early June....Also you might want to consider hurricane season. Hope this helps! good luck!
