LINDSEY AND BRIAN'S WEDDING
October, 2009 in Fort Myers Beach"Our wedding was exactly what we wanted: small, intimate, laid back, and inexpensive. If this is what you are looking for, I would recommend Lovers key Resort. However, if you are the type of person who will freak out if any little thing goes wrong, look elsewhere...(for example, my musician who the hotel picked out for me came down with swine flu, and my wedding planner was changed on me) These things don't bother me, but they would many brides! Oh, and our rehearsal dinner was the best one I've ever been too. I would HIGHLY recommend the Sandy Butler for any party you may have down in Fort Myers."

"The ceremony was very beautiful, except that there was a couple on a waive runner who pulled up in the sand and decided to watch. Though they didn't mean to be rude, they cheered when it was over...it was extremely rude. It was my private ceremony that I only invited my closest family and friends to, and no one from the hotel asked them to leave."

"The reception was set up exactly how I had imagined it, and the food was great. Half way through my reception, they hotel staff was on it, and let me know rain was on its way. They had a back up location ready for us, so when it hit, we were ready. It only made it that much more fun! Because of the inconvenience of the rain, they even kept the bar open for my guests. I was very happy with the way it turned out."

"The rooms were beautiful, as well as the lobby area. However, there were many small bugs, called "No-See-Ums" that ruined many of my guests stay. They were highly dissapointed that the hotel did not warn people of these little pests so we would've prepared ourselves with bug spray. One of my guests even had an allergic reaction and had to go to urgent care. We were told after researching further, that some hotels spray for them. I truly hope that after all of my guests complaints, they will protect their future guests better."
