Ceremony

Spanish Monastery

16711 W Dixie Hwy
North Miami Beach, FL 33160, US

Rating:

Absolutely gorgeous! For those of you having just your ceremony there, I highly recommend using the prayer well area. Have yourself set up on the stage, the musicians by the tree, and guests angled towards the stage on the outskirts of the entry paths. I used the prayer well for the lighting of the unity candle and it was beautiful!

Reception

The Palms Hotel

3025 Collins Ave
Miami Beach, FL 33140, US

Rating:

This has a lot to offer, but the prices reflect that. Its great because it is on the beach (beach pictures are gorgeous), the rooms are simple and can be transformed anyway you want, and the staff the day of is spectacular! They really work their behinds off. However, in the end the price was quite high for what we actually recieved. Plus we had a couple mishaps (they accidentally gave one of our boxes filled with reception items to another wedding).

Restaurant

Yuca

501 Lincoln Rd
Miami Beach, FL 33139, US

Rating:

This is such a fun place to have your rehearsal dinner. You get a private room upstairs with its own bar and the staff is great. To add a special touch, do what we did and ask about the salsa dancers. We had one couple come in at dessert to do some routines and teach us how to salsa. It was a great venue!
