This is a beautiful church. Although, the priest is on the conservative/traditional side and there is limited parking (but ample street parking), we loved being married here. I would highly recommend. The wedding coordinators that work here are great. We were worried going in, but everything ran smoothly and was absolutely beautiful.

By far the best location we could have chosen. We were on a limited budget since we were paying for the wedding ourselves. We wanted something elegant but not too extravegant. Receptions are held upstairs in the main ballroom. It's a beautiful room with windows all along the back side overlooking the greens and a balcony that guests can go out on and get fresh air. Our guests loved the balcony, it has a southern plantation feel, and were able to sit outside and chat around one of the tables. There is an elevator for older guests, and the staircase and enterance are deep mahagony. The service at the club was impeccable and the food was fantastic. All of our guests raved about not only the location but the food. Unfortunately, we did not have time to eat but everyone has told us the appetizers were great and the dinner was delicious. The wedding coordinator was on top of everything, and made the evening flow perfectly. At the end of the night I was even being hugged by the wait staff. They truely make you feel at home. I highly recommend the Springfield Golf & Country Club. (Just a note - we were/are not members).

The Hilton Springfield was very accomodating, and were both friendly and professional during our planning. The rooms are typical hotel rooms. One of the great things is that they offered one trip to and one trip back from the Springfield Golf & Country Club. We held a brunch at the hotel (Houlihans) the day after the wedding for out of town guests and people are still raving about it. It's not an extravagent hotel, but we were concerned with location from reception, the cost per night, ample parking (free), cleanliness and it met and exceed all of these. We also didn't have to meet a minimum or sign a contract requiring us to pay out of pocket for rooms not met which several hotels in Old Town were going to do.
