"Seven Falls is located in Cheyenne Canyon, close to downtown Colorado Springs. It is Colorado's only waterfall to be listed in National Geographic's "List of International Waterfalls," which makes this place pretty special. You can pay to see it up-close-and-personal (complete with an elevator or a billion rickety stairs) or hike to a viewpoint for free!"

"These are authentic Anasazi cliff dwellings built over 700 years ago and preserved under a protective red sandstone overhang. Most importantly, you are free to touch and even go inside!"

Pikes Peak Cog Railway

"This is the world's highest cog railroad, the highest Colorado railroad AND the highest train in the United States! It takes you to the summit of Pikes Peak, at a whopping 14,110 feet. For those of you up for a workout, you can hike to the summit. For those of you up for a harrowing adventure, you can drive to the summit. Best of all, there are donuts waiting for you up at the top!"

"Start at the Visitor Center then check out the cadet chapel, Arnold Hall, the Planetarium, and even the Field House. Visitors to the Academy may enter through either the North Gate, which can be accessed from Exit 156B on Interstate 25, 14 miles north of downtown Colorado Springs, or from the South Gate, which can be accessed from Exit 150 on Interstate 25."

The Velodrome is also very close to here."
