We're hosting a brunch for family and out of town guests the morning after the wedding at our downstairs neighbor's. It runs 11 am-2 pm on Sunday, August 10 at Vino Locale.

San Francico's Chinatown is one of the largest Chinatowns in the world.

Coit Tower

Coit Tower is at the top of Telegraph Hill. You can walk down into the strange neighborhood without streets (but with long staircases) from here. This neighborhood was featured in the movie The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill.

Fisherman's Wharf

Great fresh seafood from street vendors and tons of little shops.

Golden Gate Bridge

Worth driving over once and stopping at the information center on the north side to get great views of the bride and San Francisco - when it's not cloudy!

Monterey Bay Aquarium

A bit of a haul, but a world class aquarium

Napa Wineries

Come up to the adjacent counties of Napa and Sonoma for some wine tasting

Old Mission San Juan Bautista

The Mission in San Juan Bautista was featured in the Hitchcock movie Vertigo - if you like Missions this one is pretty nice.

Paramount Great America

A small local theme park

Santa Cruz beach

If you want to go to the beach while you're here. the Santa Cruz-Capitola area has nice beaches.

Come up to the adjacent counties of Napa and Sonoma for some wine tasting

Stanford Campus

Worth checking out. Beautiful architecture and landscaping.

The Haight

The center of San Francisco's counter-culture. Very cool neighborhood and shops.

Twin Peaks

One of the best views of the city.

Union Square

The area around Union Square is kind of like San Francisco's version of Fifth Avenue. Very nice shopping and people watching.
