The Del has a nice restaurant, 1500 Ocean (http://www.dine1500ocean.com/), facing the ocean. You can enjoy a drink by the outdoor fire place or lunch under the sun. Anonymous and I like to catch sunset on the Hotel Del Sun Deck. They serve cocktails and cafe food too. If you want to make a day of it on the Coronado Island, you can rent bikes and surfboards right at the Del."
