"We really enjoyed planning and having our wedding in the Dana Point, CA area. It is very close to Laguna Beach and central to LA and San Diego, so a great mid-point and beautiful area. Our guests enjoyed staying at the Marriott resort with the gorgeous ocean views. The park in front of the hotel overlooks the harbor and coastline offering a gorgeous setting for our ceremony. Wouldn't change a thing! Marriott was very accomodating and easy to work with. "

It was a beautiful setting however the side of the park we originally wanted out ceremony on was heavily shaded by 5pm (we noticed this the night before the wedding during the rehearsal!), so we chose the other side. Park can get crowded and busy in summer so need someone to steak out your area. Need to get a permit as well to reserve the park. We loved this location for our ceremony though, it was beautiful.

Gorgeous hotel, great food, accomodating staff. All in all a wonderful event, I would definitely recommend anyone planning a wedding to check out this location. Shanel was our event catering coordinator.
