The Hermosa Beach pier, also known as the popular "strand" , has many shops, restaurants, shops, clubs, and bars. One of my favorite spots when I visit home. It's literally footsteps away from the sand. During the day, you can play volleyball, relax on the sand, or take a bike ride down the boardwalk.

You can't visit Los Angeles without visiting the Getty museum. It is situated in the mountains overlooking the city of Los Angeles. The museum is amazing. It has European paintings, sculptures, manuscripts, decorative arts, drawings, etc. There is no admission charge, but there is a fee for parking ( $5.00 per car).
