Our rehearsal dinner will be here at 6:00pm June 29th. A quaint setting with delicious food. We are told there will be Mariachi performers there on Friday. We hope you enjoy it. We would love to have all of you there but the dinner is by invitation only.

Vegetarian but decadent none the less. Jenny and I have been here only once but despite many reviews of poor service we had a great time.

Martorana Bros Casa Bianca Pizza Pie

Eagles Rock's pizzeria of choice. Get there early because there is always a wait. This is walking distance from our house, so give us a call if you're going for a pie!

Orean Health Express

Vegetarian fast food. Sloppy and yummy but without one ounce of animal product. For those vegetarians in the mix, this is a good quick food fix.

Philippe the Original

Arguably the originator of the French Dip sandwich. This place is old-school and no frills. Wood shavings on the floor and bench seating. Order a dip and you get a dip. Roll and Meat (cheese to order) dipped in Au Jus. The mustard makes it for me but its very spicy so watch out.

Pie'n Burger

Yummy old school burger joint not far from the venue. Don't fill up before the wedding, but be sure to check this place out for a classic LA burger, fountain soda, and slice of pie.

Porto's Bakery

This bakery will most likely be supplying our Wedding cake. They also make fine pastries and sandwiches. Their cuban sandwiches are very good. The lines are long, but they go fairly quickly. Make sure you're in the right one to order what you want though.

The Hat

Los Angeles style Pastrami. On a hoagie roll with yellow mustard. This sandwiches are gigantic and yummy.

Zankou Chicken

Amazing rotisserie chicken and lebanese food. The garlic paste is the key. Lately Jenny and I prefer the Chicken Tarna plate. Check out the chicken that makes Beck sing.

El Pueblo De Los Angeles Historic Monument: Olvera Street Events

This is the oldest section of L.A., with an interesting history. It is known for its Spanish and Mexican heritage and since 1930 has been a colorful Mexican marketplace with restaurants and souvenir shops.

Forest Lawn Memorial-Parks

Many famous movie stars are burried here. To attempt to decrease the tourist traffic, they do not supply maps to the famous tombs but still fun to walk around and to discover for yourself.

Gamble House

An amazing Arts and Crafts house designed by renowned architects Greene and Greene. I'm not much for house tours, but this place is gorgeous. The surrounding neighborhood full of craftsman bungalows is worth a drive through as well.

Huntington Library Art Collections and Botanical Gardens: Group Sales

A beautiful place to visit, either for its gardens (rose, cactus, Japanese, herb, etc.) or its museum (paintings of Pinky and Blue Boy). High tea is served near the rose garden by reservation. Check out the web-site for more information

Norton Simon Museum of Art

This museum holds one of the world's finest and most prestigious collections of art. There is an extensive print collection, which includes rare etchings by Rembrandt and Goya as well as a comprehensive collection of Picasso graphics. The collection includes the Galka E. Scheyer Collection of works by the Blue Four artists: Feininger, Jawlensky, Kandinsky and Klee.
