A really neat look back in history if you are in town and want to kill some time. They have a real tar pit outside the museum that they have pulled many of the fossils in the museum out of. I like going there to unwind. I'm a geek I know.

Los Angeles Zoo

One of our favorite places to spend time. We can get lost at the zoo. You want to go early in the summer because the animals get sleepy.

Santa Barbara Zoological Gardens

This is a really nice little zoo on the coast. If you are coming down the 101 from northern california, or just want to take a day trip to the zoo and the beach its beautiful.

Universal City Walk

dining, movies, entertainment and an overall boredom buster. Attached to Universal Studios Hollywood.

Casa Malibu Inn On the Beach

more of a hotel than an attraction, but its right on the beach, so you get 2 for 1.

Hollywood Fantasy Tours

there are rides and restaurants everywhere, and you are on the beach. The drive down PCH (HWY 1) is beautiful and worth the drive.

Venice Beach

All different artists and attractions are along this beach pier. It's a los angeles staple.
