Monarch Cove Inn

The perfect venue for a casual, outdoor, small to mid-sized wedding. The Bed and Breakfast itself is a little worn-down, but the grounds and view are spectacular. There were enough rooms for our families and our wedding party to stay on location with us, which really gave the event a comfortably backyard kinda feel. And Lonna, the onsite wedding coordinator, is really wonderful to work with.

Best Western Capitola

There aren't many large hotels in the Capitola area, so we suggested this hotel as potential accommodations for our guests. Unfortunately, it's pretty overpriced for what you get, and it isn't walking distance to the beach. If you're looking for something of this size, I would recommend the Best Western in Aptos, which feels a bit nicer than this property but is less expensive (I think).

Capitola Inn

Nothing fancy, but it's relatively close to the Capitola Village. A reasonably-priced location if you plan to spend most of your time outside enjoying the area and not inside an average hotel room.

Ocean Echo Inn

Again, we had a hard time reserving accommodations for our out-of-town guests, but the Ocean Echo turned out to be a pretty good venue. It doesn't look like much from the outside--it's essentially a beach motel--but it's under new management and is in the process of being renovated. The prices are reasonable, and most importantly, it's right on the beach!
