"Shane and I had a blast at our wedding. Every vendor lived up to our expectations and beyond. Our friends and family said that it was the most fun they'd had at a wedding. It wasn't too formal, but not too casual. It was a very relaxed setting and with 100 people max, it wasn't too hectic. Overall we wouldn't change a thing about our special day. Might I add that we stayed at the Estancia Hotel in La Jolla the prior two nights. It was a beautiful, secluded hotel on beautiful grounds."

VG's, located in Encinitas/Cardiff, was the best cake we could have asked for. Not only was the cake delicious, but it was decorated so beautifully. We received many complements on the cake. (on a side note, they have the best donuts too) They also delivered the cake which was great.

Vina was such a pleasure to work with. She was the first caterer we contacted. We went for a tasting, and we loved it. The food was excellent and the presentation just as good. Vina was able to work with us being on a strict budget. We met with her several times and each time we were so glad we chose her to cater our event. She and her staff were so wonderful. We would recommend Vina & Co to anyone planning a wedding or another event.

I went to the MAC store in the Fashion Valley Mall in San Diego. The make-up artist, Nancy, did such an incredible job. Not only did she do my make up, but she also applied false eyelashes. I received so many complements before I could even get out of the MAC store. At the wedding, my make up stayed on the entire time. Nancy made sure my make up wasn't to light, but not to clownish either. She made it perfect. In fact, I wish I could have her do my make up everyday...or at least when I go out. I loved it!
Do's and Lipstick

Do's and Lipstick is located in Solana Beach. My hairdresser is Crystal. She did such a wonderful job on my hair. I wanted it to look like Jessica Simpson's hair when she got married. Crystal got it dead on. Over my make up and dress, I received more complements on my hair. It was beautiful.

The Thursday Club was beautiful. Everything went off without a hitch. The resident managers, Cookie and Tom, were a pleasure to work with. One surprise was that I thought the deposit of $1,000 would go towards our final payment of $2500, but it's separate. We had to scramble to get an extra grand. I wish they would have disclosed that up front. It made sense in the long run because they charge you for any excessive clean-up or extra time needed for your vendors. I just didn't know that off the bat. Otherwise, everything was lovely. I'd recommend The Thursday Club to anyone planning a wedding or a special event.
