Santa Anita Church The

Honestly, if I reviewed the church before the wedding, I would have given it 3 stars, as the rules are a bit strict, but the wedding day went better than I would have imagined. If you are keen on having things a certain way, which is not their way, I would look somewhere else. The church is not very flexible. They are saved by a few of the staff there that remember it is the bride and groom's special day, and not just a business.

Monrovia Historical Museum

Loved this place. Pleanty of nice people and very affordable. The downside (minus 1 star) is that you have to pay for hourly staff and security to be at the site the day of the wedding, even those hours not used for the reception. The number is based on the number of guests at the wedding. But I would have the recetion here again in a heartbeat. You just have to remeber that you have to do all your own rentals and catering by renting here. We decorated the the place with flowers in the fountain and White chinese lanters hung from the trees - the place didn't need much else.

Stayed here our wedding night. GREAT continental breakfast, and looks like a god cocktail hour too. I room was supposedly non-smoking, but smelled like smoke. THe rooms are very spacious with a separate living area and bedroom, as well as a small kitchenette.

Shopping and Food. Located on Colorado Blvd between Los Robles and S. Arroyo Pkwy. More mall type shopping. Old Town Pasadena is located further West on Colorado near Fair Oaks Ave.
