"The weather was beautiful, the venue looked gorgeous and everyone had a really great time. When we were making choices for the wedding –we really concentrated on making it fun for everyone. Little games, contests, the open bar.. lol.. We knew we wouldn’t have fun unless our guests were having fun. We even got an email from Steamworks afterwards telling us how much fun the staff had – even though they were working."

Hello Angela and Mike. Congrats on your wedding!!

My fiance Andrew and I are looking to have both our reception and ceremony at the Landing (so pretty!)

We are trying to figure out an over all budget and if you dont mind my asking, we were wondering what the final damage was? *laugh* we have about 120 people on our guest list at the moment and would like to have an open bar (atleast for an hour if its so expensive)

What were the costs of the bar?
What were they taxes they added over all?
Do you have any photos that you would be willing to share?
How many people did you have?
If you used the Uber room did you find the devision of the rooms inconvenient? (between the landing and room)?
Were you able to get a focus for the reception (A place to have a slide show or something?)

Im sorry about the zillion questions! and i do have many more ;o) Any help would be greatly appreciated though.

Congratulations :)

Out total invoice at Steamworks was almost 12,000.. which includes taxes, grat, wedding coordination, rentals (chairs & tables only), food and the open bar... Open bar was 4,000 of the bill.

Not sure who the wedding coordinator is there now.. Chrissy is actually leaving Steamworks; which is really unfortunate.. she was amazing.. so helpful. The entire staff was really awesome though. Willing to accomidate all the little requests..

We didn't have a slideshow per say.. I had a looping slideshow of pictures going on in the foyer while people we showing up and while people were getting food but no official presentation - but there is a couple options for a place to have it within uber louge though.

The "seperation" didn't bother us at all.. worked out really well actually. I had tables set up in the foyer for people to sit at if they wanted to watch the dancing or take a break.. so it ended up being a kind of "louge area"..

I have a ton of pictures.. probably easiest if I add you as a friend on FB honestly.. then you can snoop through them all.. lol

Thank you so much for the quick response! The bill is kind of what we expected...so this place looks more and more within our reach...im getting excited. We are going there on Sat to see a wedding that is set up so we have a general idea.
