"This is a classy, vintage (think 1930's) venue with impeccable 5-star service. You need to be sponsored by a Club member to host an event there, but if you can get it, it is well worth the expense. Our wedding ceremony and reception were both held on site, which made it easy for guests. The terrace off of the California Room was perfect for the cigar rollers. The in-house catering was excellent and worked with me to tailor the menu to my needs. Although outside cake vendors are accepted, I hired the Club's Chef and he went above and beyond to fulfill my desire to have a croquembouche instead of traditional wedding cake! It was perfect."

"I chose the Hyatt Regency for its convenient location to the wedding venue, as well as the service. The feedback from my guests was unanimous on the great service. With high level government officials from the nearby Capitol using the hotel so regularly, I think the service there has ratcheted up over the years. It is one of the best Hyatt hotels. We utilized the hotel bar for two nights to gather with guests, and they were very accommodating."
