"Macy's had the most freebies from different manufactures. they tend to brush over this part of registering when you go. Look at the freebies that you can get and let it influence your decisions somewhat - after all you get free stuff, like bowls to match your china- nothing's better than free!"

Tuxedo Vendor:

"They totally screwed up. If it hadn't been for the district managers getting involved around town, I would have had mismatched tuxedos. They ordered the wrong ones to begin with and then called me 3 days before my wedding to say they were discontinued and that they were switching the tuxes with something that was exactly the same. We went to the store to find out that they were different than what we originally ordered. We got it straightened out but I had guys at 4 different locations getting tuxes. The ONLY way that this was straightened out was by dealing with the district managers themselves. Some of the salespeople in the stores were pretty clueless and needed more training. They have about 12 tuxes to choose from for weddings and don't know the style numbers or at least can't get them right. Honestly! Then to top it all off they had my groom in tails and the rest of the men in regular jackets. (B/c whoever originally did the order must have screwed up). After looking at our original contract and their website all of the men were originally in tails (not what we wanted) Apparently the manager saw the mistake and thought she corrected the error by choosing a different tux - not the one we chose either and it was discontinued and my groom was still in tails). IN ESSENCE, SHE CHANGED OUR CONTRACT THAT WE SIGNED. If you go here make sure you get all paperwork and go on the internet and check the style numbers yourself. Better yet go someplace else and save yourself some sanity."

Wedding Fashion Vendor:

"Great selection of gowns. If I had the choice again, I would go there to find my gown and buy it somewhere else. The lady who originally helped me find my dress was great. The girl who helped when the dress came in was not that great however, and it was like she was rushing me to get out of there. I wish that I would have gotten a different slip from them. Had I had more time, I could have tried the other one on. My dress ended up being really incredibly full - too full. It was really the only thing that I didn't like about my wedding. It was a shame that one person really can put a damper on things."

"Excellent!!! Everyone raved how well it went here and that it was one of the most beautiful receptions that they had been to. The Wetherington catered to our every need. If I asked for anything at all, they granted my wish. They have excellent food competing with some of the best restaurants (hands down the best food I've had at any wedding) and great service. The clubhouse is absolutely beautiful. A perfect place to have a wedding. They will also allow you to take pictures with some of the golf course. Another plus, no other weddings to deal with, meaning no unreasonable time limits. We had the place as long as we wanted. Our reception lasted from 3:30-10pm (6&1/2 hours long) we could have had it longer if we had liked.."
