However, the individual who did the consultation with me was extremely vague on costs and availability of flowers. Then several weeks passed and I never received the quote I had been promised. I called them a couple of times and sent an email -- but they just never contacted me again. I really cannot recommend them. I ended up using Flowerz - and they were amazing so happy things turned out the way they did."

"Service at this small shop was very friendly and helpful. Staff were not at all pushy and seemed genuinely interested in helping me find a dress that suited by body type, regardless of cost. I ended up purchasing a simple dress for $200. In the end I ended up buying an alternate dress, but I was very happy with Bliss and would recommend it. They offer free pressing before the wedding."

"We had a rehearsal luncheon for 17 people in the private room upstairs at Water Street Cafe. The room was gorgeous - hardwood floors, great view of Gastown and very spacious. (They really should add some pics of the room to their website!). The food was amazing and reasonably priced (average entree $20). The only little glitch was the person we initially spoke to in order to make our reservation did not record it in the book so when I called a couple days before to confirm our numbers, I was surprised to learn they had no record of our reservation. Luckily they did not have any other bookings so things went without a hitch."

"Our out of town guests stayed here, as did we on our wedding night. The "rooms" are actually like mini apartments - 600 sq. ft. plus with apartment-style kitchens with full fridges, balconys, a separate bedroom with flat screen TV and a living room. Very nice decor, comfy beds and very reasonable prices for downtown Vancouver. Rates even include parking. I highly recommend considering Carmana - particularly if you have guests staying for a while as the larger size rooms are excellent for this."
