Hi Katie. Congratulations! Yes there are two levels. You can peak into the upper level anytime. The door all the way to the right is usually open. I'm not sure if they have mass up there. I know they don't in the winter since it is hard to heat. It was a bit cold on our wedding day in March (I didn't notice on that day but noticed during rehersal). I'd definitely check out the air conditioning situation if your wedding is in the summer. I hope you have good weather - they'll throw open the big doors onto the street at the end of the wedding!

Hello, I am not sure how it works if you are not a parishoner. St Patrick's is my parish so that issue did not come up. As a parishoner, the cost was $200 - that was for the musician and the singer - who was awesome! Good luck and have a great wedding day.

I did find out it's 1000 + the cost of the cantor/organist (another 150) if you're not a parishoner. They said though that in 2010 the upper church is being renovated and so the only place to get married is in the chapel... Is the chapel just as nice? I may go check it out this weekend.

Hi, The chapel is nice but it is in no way as impressive as the upper Church. Definitely stop in to take a look. Entrance to the chapel is on the side of the church, down a flight of stairs.

Hi Katie. Congratulations on your wedding! I also do not have a relationship with Father Mackle but he did marry us. I remember when meeting with him and rehearsing he was very concerned with keeping on schedule. But then, on the actual wedding day, we left the flowers at the hotel and he was absolutely fine with waiting for my aunt to go pick them up and bring them back. So I feel that he is flexible - don't hesitate to ask for your special walk. Enjoy the day! Cathy
