Hi Sarah, I can't recomend you better than the Castillo. I'm Event Manager and I've never seen such a professionalism in any place. The food is succulent, the service was perfect, the place is magical. No need of a planer, they take care of everything, flowers, colors, tables. You just need to meet Jose Manuel and he knows what he's talking about, he gives you all the advice he can and never says no, everything is possible for him. I organised my wedding from London and thanks to them it was simply perfect. But be careful if you get married between June and September, book your date in advance as it's fully booked very quickly.

Thank you so much for your response on both posts. I"m glad to hear that you liked it because we saw pictures and just thought it was perfect.

Can you tell me more about the Castillo de Bil Bil. I couldn't find anything online except some beautiful pictures. We actually will just be having a symbolic ceremony as we will be holding the civil wedding in Germany but we would still like this to be the "real" wedding for us and our guests.

Thanks again for your help and I hope London is having better weather than we are in Berlin!

London is freezing, Winter is coming very soon this year. The BilBil is a cultural center who helds civil ceremonies over the summer too so they won't be able to accomodate your symbolic ceremony unfortunately. El Castillo Santa Catalina can hire actors to recreate a symbolic blessing too. Only you and your fiance will know it.

Congratulations for your engagement too. Not a problem for the questions, always a pleasure to help, it's a beautiful day in one's life. I did myself the make up but the hairdresser where I went can do it too. It's a franchise from Jean Louis David, quite famous hairdresser : http://www.jeanlouisdavid.com/prehome.php they are in the Larios shopping center. The boss is the one who does the bridal style and she's simply brilliant. You need to book an appointment a month or 15 days before so she can try different styles on you. Then the day before you need to be there to do your haircare and on the wedding day she can come to your place or you can go to the salon to get it done. Pricewise it's a good compromise, it's the same price for all the brides, not like in some places where it's at the face of the client. They also did my sister and my mom hair and they looked fantastic!

Thank you! I was just looking at the bodakids site and it looks great! I'm also glad they are girls....for some reason I think it would be strange to have a man around taking pictures of the girls getting ready.

Is there anyway you could send me a few pictures of the set up you had for the reception? I can send you my email address so you don't have to post them here. If that's too personal I understand.

Anyway I hope the Castillo gets back to me shortly about our date!!

Having girls as photographer is quite interesting because they don't have the same vision and perpective as men. Also they are 2 persons to shoot so you get lot of different angle and they use 2 different cameras too. They're very professional and serious persons.
Happy to help, I know how complicated it is to organise a wedding from abroad!
