"Amazing food!! Connie is fabulous and makes food into art. Not only does it taste delicious, but it looks beautiful too! Creative recipe ideas or go with your own family recipes. She also gets a lot of her ingredients locally."

"Our wedding day was great, but I would not recommend Simple Elegance to those who want to do something more unique than a standard hotel reception. Their communication was very poor throughout the entire process and they call themselves wedding "designers" but if you don't go with their ideas and recommended vendors you're left doing all the work yourself."

"Forget Me Not is very professional and I highly recommend their services. The flowers turned out gorgeous and they were very easy to work with even though we contacted them within a few weeks of our wedding and coordinated floral arrangements over the phone! Great florist!!"

Historic St. Patrick's Church

"Beautiful, intimate church, friendly staff were there for the rehearsal and ceremony to answer any questions and help the altar servers get outfitted. We didn't even use any decorations as the church is beautiful enough as is! It worked well for us to climb to the choir loft after leaving the altar and waiting until our guests had left the pews before coming out the front doors. We also had fun waving to everyone as they left their pews. :)"

Reception:

Broadview Mansion

"We had our reception on the grounds of Broadview Mansion with no access to the inside. It was absolutely gorgeous! Doug is super helpful, although know that you may not use real glasses anywhere on the property! This wasn't disclosed to us until about 7 months after we signed the contract but now you know!! (Also note they don't allow beer or liquor--only wine.) The giant oak trees, big front porch, cobblestone street, bell tower, and large fenced in area were just what we were looking for for our outdoor reception. We even made lawn games our guests played and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy the property."

"Great hotel. Newly remodeled rooms, unique decor. We had our after party in the bar and it was nice, convenient, small, and comfortable. Our fireplace room was very comfortable."

"Great hotel. Their wedding coordinator was helpful in getting us set up with the right number of rooms for our guests. Clean, newish, and lots of awards displayed in the foyer (so they must be good, right?). Free continental breakfast included!"
