"Right on the beach. Although shopping is a bit of a walk, it has a nice Tiki bar and outdoor pool. The property is nice, but the rooms need updating."

"This hotel really has everything you need. A great rooftop restaurant and bar. Right on the beach. Pretty much always has life music and great specials. They just redid the pool which came out great. The rooms are very dated and need upgrading, however the property itself seems to make up for it. Most of my guests for the wedding stayed here."

"Carney's was extremely helpful at helping us plan the rehearsal dinner there at the last minute. We had originally planned on having it at White Heron Grill (which closed down, started renting it to Carney's, and never let us know). Carney's agreeed to still have the rehearsal dinner and worked quickly with us to plan a great reheasal dinner. I really like this place and I think it has great potential, but after more recent visits I think it still has a little bit of work to do."

"Best bar on the island. We love Fred's and have been going there for over ten years. We were able to have our welcome party after the rehearsal dinner there. Although it was very informal, Fred's provided to perfect setting to welcome all our guests to the island. It is always a good time."

"Great place for a young crowd. If a band is playing and it is after 11 oclock in the summer, pretty much plan on standing shoulder to shoulder with someone. It gets really packed."

"Sand Barren's Golf Course is an amazing place to get married. Their helpfulness and attention to detail was beyond expectation. The staff is exceptional. I really just can't say enough good things. If you are looking to get married in the area, I highly reccomend this location."
