BEKA AND BRYAN'S WEDDING

July, 2009 in Canyon

"Everything was absolutely perfect! After making so many decisions by myself, it was nice to have Tammy there to tell us all what to do on the day of the ceremony. Despite the long journey for many of the guests, I am SO happy that I chose to have my wedding in Canyon"

"My tasting appointment was a treat, the staff was very courteous to my sister and I. The cakes themselves were OUTSTANDING! I changed my mind about how I wanted the cake designed about a month or so before the wedding, and because it wasn't a huge change, they were able to easily adjust the bride's cake to exactly what I wanted."

Florist:

Shelton's Flowers

7100 SW 45th Ave
Amarillo, TX, United States

"Not only were my flowers beautiful and beyond my expectations, but the owner was able to use what little information I gave her and create arrangements based on my personality. When I decided her original estimate was too high, she was willing/able to work with me to lower the costs to a more acceptable level for my budget. The only down side is that they would not deliver my flower to the ceremony, so I had to arrange for someone to go get them."

Ceremony:

Country Home Weddings

Canyon, TX, United States

"Tammy and her family provide an almost "one stop shop" for a bride who doesn't want to do much research. Your beautiful wedding is held on her property, she is your planner/coordinator, her husband and his staff prepare your delicious meal, her brother Tim takes care of your music, and her other brother Tom does an excellent job with photography. She has special arrangements with a local cake and florist companies (although I used a florist who is a longtime friend of my family, instead). The reception is held in her GORGEOUS barn (complete with AC and multiple bathrooms). The rates Tammy charges are also relatively inexpensive. I LOVED having my wedding at Country Home!"

Hotel:

Quality Inn & Suites West Amarillo

6800 I-40 West Service Road
Amarillo, TX, United States

"There were a few minor annoyances for some guests (about room appearance), but everyone enjoyed their stay. The staff was willing to let my husband and I into the rooms assigned to our guests and place "Welcome Bags" there to surprise our loved ones. The attitudes of the staff were amazing, and we felt very welcome at the hotel (our fave staffer was the lady in charge of the breakfast area.) The rates were very reasonable, for the location, and the staff even showed a sense of humor by placing my then fiance and I on completely opposite sides of the hotel from each other!"
