"The Mellwood was everything I wanted -- which is why I chose it. Very few of the limitations many other venues place on an event (which caterer, who can supply alcohol, what you can decorate with, how many hours you get the room for the day-of, etc.) Scooter was a breeze to work with, and the setting was perfect -- quirky, unique, lots of windows (we used the larger room) and close to downtown."
