"It was unseasonably cold for October, so our outdoor ceremony was a bit chilly - but it made our afternoon tea reception all the more appropriate. We were completely satisfied with our reception at the Jefferson and warmly recommend them to others looking for a reception hotel. Don't overlook them assuming you can't afford it - they underpriced the Hilton Garden Inn in Innsbrook for our reception by almost half. Professional service, professional chefs, personalized service, very reasonable price."

"The Japanese Garden was beautiful and the staff members very helpful. We really wanted the waterfall to be on, and they helped us get it turned on before shuttling guests to the location. They also helped optimize the logistics to minimize the time our guests had to wait in the cold by running only one tram with everyone on it. (Small wedding.)"

"We did not hold our reception here as we had planned. The chef suggested a hors d'ouvre menu for an afternoon tea, the catering manager didn't return calls or answer emails when we were ready to sign a contract, and even when we simplified the menu (fewer items served) the price kept going up. We do not recommend this hotel for receptions - it was obvious that we were second (or third or fourth) priority."

"The service is what it should be at a five-star hotel. Staff are courteous and prompt, and offer personal service. Price was very reasonable (they underpriced the Hilton Garden Inn in Innsbrook, a 3-star hotel, by nearly half)."
