NEW ORLEANS WEDDING IN NOVEMBER
November, 2008 in New Orleans"Our wedding in New Orleans/ Darrow was wonderful! Louisiana in November is a great time of year, especially for weather...it was 65 degrees and sunny for our outdoor ceremony at the plantation and just cool enough at night. It was an added expense to bus our guests to the plantation from the French Quarter and then back again, but it was worth it to be able to allow as many guests as possible to take advantage of the full open bar at the reception and know that they would not be driving. We had a blast!"

"Super fun! The food was great, and between the bowling, music, hula hoops & dancing (did i mentions hula hoops?) we had a great time. Staff is friendly and you won't find New Orleans charm like this just anywhere! Great for a casual after-rehearsal and for medium-large groups. We had about 50 people."

"I really wanted to give this hotel 5 stars, as it is beautiful, has a great lobby bar for meeting up with out-of-town guests and wonderful brunch (not to mention rooftop patio overlooking the city and lovely rooms.) The bellhops and service staff was very nice and helpful as well, but given one incident involving the guest gift bags that was not handled so well at first, i just can't give it that final star. Fantastic location and helpful planning team when booking a room block in advance, though."
