The Manor was amazing! Food was great, service super, coordinator awesome. Only thing was that it was a bit far from Toronto...but no complaints! No one stayed at hotel (except us - at hwy.7 & Jane). I highly recommend outside by the water :)

Hi-

1) I am looking to book Elizabeth downstairs. Did you hear foot stomping noises from above or any noises from the upper floors?
Not at all.

2) How was the food and portions? I read reviews that this guy said the food portion was so tiny that he was really hungry after the fact. What did you have for food options?
Can't remember exactly, but the portions were fine (not too big or too small) -and no one complained! Food was pretty tasty! We had lots of appetizers (which helped as well).

3) And lastly hotel options. Did your guests mind that hotels were so far away?
We didn't have any one stay at the hotels, except for us. It was a tad out of the way, but not too bad.

Overall, we really enjoyed the Manor. Say hi to Dianne for us -she was so lovely to deal with!!

Thanks so much for your response! I really appreciate it. Last question was, were you able to negotiate anything beyond what they have quoted us or did they seem pretty firm on their prices? Ie i was hoping to see if they would throw in the chair covers or security for free.

I assume you probably didn't request for a taste testing before you signed the contract?

Will do! Diane is helping us too and she would super friendly and nice during our consultation!
