Hi Corey,
I scheduled the date and time through the borough. Make sure that your beach ceremony and back up location in case of bad weather is in the same location. This is then the location that you apply for your marriage liscence. I found a minister that online that I used for the ceremony for like $150-$200. She was helpful with alot of the beach ceremony information. I wasn't thrilled about paying some one to officiate, but the lady I used said she used the profit for donations. Her name was Dee Santesse and she works for the borough. People also sometimes use the Mayor, which I think is much cheaper. She wasn't available for my wedding date.
I rented an archway and chairs from my florist (Coventry Crossing in SH) the archway and chairs were nice, but the flowers weren't what I hoped for and they were. I had someone come play violin and guitar from a company down there, the name just isn't coming to mind right now. The borough said that there was a 30min limit, but mine defintly went over and there was no one there telling us our time was up.
One other reminder is that if you aren't from Jersey you need to go in person with a witness to sign up for your marriage liscence. Just a heads up, we almost forgot about this part two weeks before the wedding.
