"Our goal for our wedding was to bring all of the people we love together so they could get to know each other better, relax and take part in the celebration of our relationship. Andy and I also tried to make our wedding a reflection of our relationship, values, love, and lifestyle. These are the words that we came up with when we started planning; relaxed, simple, fun, color, outside, organic, recycling, local businesses, friends, family, and love. We were very successful and couldn’t have been happier."

"We opted out of having a traditional wedding cake choosing an assortment of baked goods instead which we got from the best local bakery ever - Manderfield’s Bakery. Gerry was gracious and generous allowing us to taste all the cookies, cakes and pies we wanted when making our decisions – we ended up getting a little of everything! Everybody who attended the wedding raved about the selection and taste and of course we loved everything!"

Penny Myers was our catering coordinator and really worked with us to make the menu what we were looking for, a casual tapas style. "Our Wedding was on a Sunday at Homestead Meadows Farm. We didn’t want to spend a lot of money on flowers since I was the only one who was going to carry a bouquet but we wanted colorful flowers on the tables – what better way to get fresh flowers than from the local farmers market!! Our out-of-towners were staying at the Copperleaf Hotel so we just walked up the street and spent a wonderful couple hours enjoying the Appleton Farmers Market and buying all the flowers we needed from the local vendors. The flowers were very reasonably priced and breathtakingly gorgeous – I wouldn’t have been happier with anything else."

"The Copperleaf Hotel is where all of our out-of-towners stayed while in Appleton and where Andy and I stayed the night of the wedding. Hands down this is the best hotel we have ever stayed at and it feels really good to say that it is locally owned. Every single staff is overly accommodating, everything is VERY clean, the décor is nice, the beds are WONDERFUL, the continental breakfast is FANTASTIC and the Aveda products are a nice luxury; they just seem to think of everything. All of our guests raved about the hotel and every single interaction that Andy and I had with them made us feel like we could not have chosen a better hotel."
