Hi Krista,

I'm sorry for taking so long! He is a really nice guy. He can come across as kind of off the wall, though, but we found it endearing. :)

We thought he was a good choice, mainly because I think he was our only choice b/c the City of Laguna Beach has such strict noise policies and I think he was the only one on the approved vendor list from Tivoli (our venue).

I don't know old he is, probably mid-40s. He did have the current music, though, and if we had taken the time to make a list for every last song I'm sure he would have played them.

One thing, and he probably learned this from experience with picky people, but make sure that when you tell him a song to play that it's the right song. We told him the song we wanted to dance to on our first dance and he followed our instructions perfectly. The only thing is, I was so stressed out that I gave him the wrong title. He had misgivings about it when he listened to it, apparently, but he didn't question this. So our first dance was really weird. But we have a good sense of humor so we still laugh about it. :)

All in all, we really liked him, though. He was very professional and left us nothing to worry about. We had a tea ceremony for the relatives and he handled that for us just fine.
