"The 2009 Iowa State Fair will be winding down during our wedding. Many of the displays will be down at that point, but we would still recommend stopping by if you get a chance! Shuttles frequently run from the state capitol building to the fairgrounds, making it easy to get to the fair if you're staying downtown. (Also, the State Fair is a great reason to make sure that you book your hotel rooms well in advance!)"

"A restored prairie where Anonymous was a volunteer/intern in 2005. This site offers a buffalo herd in an enclosure that you can drive through, a museum and learning center, and several walking trails. The prairie colors should be amazing in August!"
