DJ:
Omega Sound & Entertainment
1441 Fremaux AvenueSlidell, LA, United States
"FANTASTIC. I am still getting compliments on the DJ, two months after the wedding. One of our guests said it best when he said that our DJ "kept the party going without having to BE the party". We LOVE David Storm and are already looking forward to hiring him for anniversary parties, birthday parties, sweet 16s, and any other event we can come up with an excuse to have a DJ at! Highly, highly recommended -- can't say enough good about him!!"

"The first thing Diane said to me was, "Tell me about your dress." She is amazing, and was able to tailor my flowers exactly to what I wanted while keeping within my budget. In fact, she quoted me a price lower than the estimate I was given elsewhere for a very generic set of flowers. I was so thrilled with my flowers that I am having them preserved!"
Photographer:
Michael Caswell
New Orleans, LA, USA"We are very, very happy with our wedding photos! The photos of the ceremony capture the evening perfectly. I also wanted a lot of pictures of my guests enjoying the reception, and Michael was able to give us exactly that. His formals are not as strong as the candids, but we were not looking for a lot of formal photos so it didn't matter. Very, very pleased with his work and highly recommend him to other brides!"

"Our ceremony was like something out of a fairy tale -- we're really thrilled with it! The staff at the Audubon Tea Room was wonderful, and the location was gorgeous."

"The Audubon Tea Room is a gorgeous space which made a perfect setting for our wedding. And the food!! People have been complementing us on the quality and quantity of the food ever since the wedding. We couldn't be happier with our choice! Highly recommended."
Hotel:
Hampton Inn New Orleans-downtown (french Quarter Area)
226 Carondelet StreetNew Orleans, LA, United States
"My mother was nervous about the hotel when she heard which one we had picked, but after arriving she couldn't stop raving. The rooms are huge and lovely, the price was perfect for our guests' pocketbooks, and the staff was very kind. We were able to use the breakfast area (free of charge) for a Friday night meet-and-greet prior to the wedding on Saturday, and we also ended up using it as a place to hang out after the wedding Sunday. Everyone loved this hotel, and it turned out to be a very good thing to be just outside the Quarter -- the police had blocked off most of the streets when we got back after the wedding, since it was Halloween and insanely crowded. If we had been staying anywhere beyond Canal, we would all have had a horrible time getting back to the hotel. We're so happy with our choice!"
Restaurant:
Coop's Place
1109 Decatur StNew Orleans, LA, United States
"A fun little hole-in-the-wall type place in the quarter. Great jambalaya!"
Restaurant:
Crabby Jacks
428 Jefferson HwyJefferson, LA, United States
"Some of the best po' boys in town! They're only open for lunch, and the line can get long in peak hours, but it's worth it. Bring a big appetite!"
Restaurant:
Creole Creamery
4924 Prytania StNew Orleans, LA, United States
"Awesome ice cream! This shop is a few blocks from our house, so we walk here often."
Restaurant:
Elizabeth's Restaurant
601 Gallier StNew Orleans, LA, United States
"One of our faves. SarahScott used to live a few blocks from here and we'd eat dinner here all the time. The praline bacon is fantastic! Your route here would best come down Chartres St from the French Quarter. The neighborhood can be intimidating, but the food is worth it!"
Restaurant:
Felipe's Taqueria
6215 S Miro StNew Orleans, LA, United States
"Fast, tasty burritos, quesadillas and tacos. Their margaritas are also great! Felipe's has a location in the Quarter now, too, but this is the one we usually come to."
Restaurant:
Gelato Pazzo Caffe
8115 Oak StNew Orleans, LA, United States
"Amazingly fantastic gelato, and the best panini SarahScott's had since she was in Italy! We love Pazzo!"

"This is where the rehearsal dinner will be. We haven't been here before, but it's supposed to be fantastic!"

"One of the best restaurants in town, especially when you want some real New Orleans food. Be prepared to wait, but go hungry!"

"This sushi place is not far from our house. Try the Sarah Roll or the Poke Salad."

"Great little restaurant with delicious crepes, huge bowls of steamed mussels, and charming atmosphere."
Restaurant:
LA Thai Uptown
4938 Prytania StreetNew Orleans, LA, United States
"Another one of the restaurants we frequent. The fried calamari is excellent, the soft shell crab is fantastic, and the mojitos are some of the best in New Orleans. Be careful though, they're strong!"
Restaurant:
Mikimoto Japanese Restaurant
3301 S Carrollton AveNew Orleans, LA, United States
"This was the very first restaurant SarahScott went to in New Orleans. Amanda, a friend from Baltimore and then-first year, was hosting SarahScott when she came to interview and suggested this as a good spot for foods. And it is! Aside from that special association, it's also just plain good sushi. Try the chirashi!"
Coffee Shop:
Fair Grinds Coffeehouse

"One of the coffee shops where we have spent hours studying. They have live music, yoga, and more, too -- check the calendar if you're looking for something to do!"
