POUGHKEEPSIE WEDDING IN AUGUST
August, 2011 in Poughkeepsie"I am not from Poughkeepsie, NY and chose it as somewhat of a destination for our wedding. I am so glad we did. We met so many friendly people to work with and it was such a fantastic experience. The town has to much to offer and we are so happy to have a tie to the town for the rest of our lives!"

"Father Blake was a joy to work with. We are from out of town and he was very easy to schedule with. The church is gorgeous. We had a very rainy day, but we ended up using the church for most of our pictures. They are some of the most beautiful pictures I have ever seen! It was a bit hot in the Summer, but well worth it for the beauty of the place."

"I cannot begin to describe the incredible experience we had working with The Grandview. Although this venue was over an hour away from my hometown, once we toured it, we couldn't NOT book there. From start to finish, they handled everything. Any special requests or questions I had were answered in a very timely fashion. I began to suspect that anything I wanted, they could do! We attended a tasting, which was wonderful as well. I thought things were wonderful before the wedding, but I was blown away by the service. My now-husband and I had our own personal server who took care of us and got us anything we wanted! She even bustled my train when my bridal party was out enjoying cocktail hour. When my train broke multiple times, they fixed it. Our guests are raving about the gorgeous scenery, food and service. Many have never been to a wedding that was so spectacular! The Viennese Hour was the icing on the cake! We keep saying that we hope someone we know gets married there so we can go again! I could go on and on, but it was truly wonderful from start to finish."

"The hotel was wonderful. It provided a trolley service to and from the reception, which the guests who were staying there greatly appreciated. They also had a full breakfast each morning. This was fantastic and we were able to even have guests staying at other hotels come and enjoy it for an additional cost. The rooms were very comfortable and big and the bar was nice at night for those were weren't ready to go to bed or end the party just yet. Overall a wonderful experience. The bridal suite was amazing also and a great room to get ready in- it was huge!"
