"From what we hear this place has crazy good conch fritters. If you've never had some now is the time to try. Also the best crab cakes around (we challenge Baltimorians to tell us what they think!). It is also on the waterfront and has live music! Here is a review from Fodors "Floating on two roadside barges in an old fishing community 13 mi southeast of Homestead is this weathered open-air seafood restaurant. Regular customers include Keys characters, Sunday cyclists, local retirees, and boaters, who come to admire tropical birds in the nearby mangroves, the occasional crocodile in the canal, or the live band on weekends. The menu has traditional Keys dishes like cracked and fried conch, fish sandwiches, burgers, fries, salads, and lots of beer. The crabcakes, made from local blue crabs, are exceptional. By night (after 5 PM), there are also pizza (try the garlic chicken white pizza), pasta dishes (everyone loves the chicken parm), even veggie goulash. and beer and wine to wash it all down. Of course, you may bypass all this and make a meal out of one of Chad's white-chocolate macadamia nut or chocolate-chip cookies, approximately the size of your head.""

"This place is delicious! And has gorgeous views of the gulf. We really recommend going here. The food is great (Anonymousand Daryl's favorites are the key lime pie and the shrimp and pasta dish). Plus you can sip on some drinks as you watch the sunset. Perfect photo opportunity here! Very much worth the drive plus if you're here go feed the tarpon at Robbie's. It's really fun!"

We like to stop at Key Largo Conch House (formerly known as Key Largo Coffee House; everything in Key Largo seems to have a past life) to say hi to Romeo, the African gray parrot, and the resident dog. "Located on mile marker 99.5 this small "keys-y" restaurant is a favorite among the locals. A popular lunch spot because of their great food and affordable prices. Also vegetarian friendly! It's really kitschy inside with guest-signed license plates on the walls. Consistently rated top 3 in restaurants on TripAdvisor and has won People's Choice in Key Largo for 19 years in a row! Since it is so popular it can get pretty busy. Also it is closed on Sundays."

"So we love food but of course Anonymousdoesn't eat pork and sometimes Anonymoushas to have some delicious ribs. Well this is our kind of place! Great mouth watering ribs (crazy good reviews about it) and equally amazing seafood. Plus super friendly island service and huge, huge portions."

"It is on Mile marker 92.5 (about 9 miles from wedding venue) If you stay at a hotel that doesn't have a beach (keep in mind the keys although an island, actually have few "real" beaches) you can come and enjoy the ocean here at this public beach. They have bike trails, basketball courts, picnic areas and a place to barbecue."

You can do a "structured swim" (you get to play and pet with dolphins) or "natural swim" ( you try to swim along side them). It's a great experience for both children and adults."

"The only underwater state park in America! They have so many things to do here. You can go diving, snorkeling, take a glass bottom boat tour and go canoeing or kayaking. Definitely visit the website to learn more about the pricing and how to reserve your spot. A must do while in Key Largo!"

"Just a short trip from Key Largo this little place in Islamorada is definitely a must do! For 5$ you can get a bucket of fish to feed to the Tarpons (these massive but beautiful fish can get up to 100lbs!) Yes it sounds like it's a bit odd. But trust us it's fun as heck. It's definitely worth the drive plus on the way back you can stop by Islamorada Fishing Company to grab a nice drink on the water as the sun sets."

"Formed of Key Largo limestone, fossilized coral, this land was sold to the Florida East Coast Railroad, which used the stone to build Henry Flagler's Overseas Railroad in the early 1900s. After the railroad was built, the quarry was used until the 1960s to produce exquisite pieces of decorative stone called Keystone. Today, visitors can walk along eight-foot-high quarry walls to see cross sections of the ancient coral and learn about the quarry and its operation- an important part of Florida's 20th century history. Samples of the quarry machinery have been preserved at the park. Visitors can enjoy the natural attributes of this island while strolling five short, self-guided trails. Picnic tables are available. The Visitor Center, open Friday through Sunday, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., features educational exhibits about the history of this site. Located at Mile Marker 85.5 on Windley Key near Islamorada."

"Basically the best rated dive company in Key Largo, FL. They do more than diving though. Here you can also snorkel and get some lessons. For those that aren't dive certified, you can always do a one day Discover Scuba Diving class which includes 2 dives for $185.00. However, if you want to try to take lessons and get certified during the weekend, make sure to check out their site for some eLearning options."
