D&W was pretty good! Our package included DJ and an MC, gobo, special effects and up lighting (which looked awesome at night) and a number of spots which decorated the room very well. My wife and I met them at a couple wedding shows and I found they were the easiest to deal with (myself - I used to DJ when I was in HS...so I knew they were not BS'ing when I asked certain questions about their equipment).

Wayde was our MC...he was really good and kept the night flowing...a lot of our guests liked his style and presence and the way he kept everybody entertained throughout speeches and dinner (we used him as an MC to help stay on schedule for the night, rather than having one of my groomsmen doing it - they could enjoy their night.

As for the music...they have a ton of stuff on file and a lot of people told us the music was great too! One suggestion is that if you have completed your profile with them (as far as music you want, must play songs...etc.), I would not get them to take requests from your guests (maybe just say "we will do our best to get this on for you" or something like that). Our invitations included a music request card, where guests can pick 3 song requests...by mot taking requests (the day of the wedding) you will get to hear more of your "must play" song list...in all fairness - your guest have already had an opportunity to make requests with your invite.

Overall, Wayde and Devon (DJ) were very professional and reasonably priced! They also have access to additional entertainment (ie. magician, musicians) for your cocktail hour...we used Jerry Jerome for our cocktail hour (my wife and I found them on our own - but people loved them too).

All in all - everyone of our vendors we were very pleased with, most of all Harbour Banquet and Conference Centre (ask for Roberto - he was awesome)...they are part of Oakville Conference Centre and just down the steet on the lake.

Thank you so much for your response! We initially met with Wayde and found him so easy to get along with compared with other DJ companies. We're meeting him again tomorrow, and it helps a lot to hear from other people as I can't seem to find any reviews online.

Yeah, I'd have to agree...he was very easy going and great to work with compared to some of the other guys my wife and I met with. He catered to your needs and didn't stress too much about the "package" - they were all customizable!!

As mentioned, he was our MC for the night....everyone loved him; he did a great job keeping our guests entertained throughout dinner and the night. He really kept us on schedule too!
