Kim, First of all congrats! I can not say enough about Cecilia and Mike at Tropical Beach Weddings. They completely catered to our every wants and needs. We did get married in one of the houses they use for weddings. The one we used was called Crimson Tide and it was truly the most elegant house...just beautiful! We were actually supposed to get married on a Saturday but because of a tropical storm heading our way we moved it to Friday. We thought this would be a complete disaster! Mike a Cecilia came through and made our special day the best ever. I can not tell you enough how much I would recommend them. We thought moving everything up a whole day would be complete chaos. We moved it from Saturday to Fridy, on Wednesday. So really Mike and Cecilia only had a one day notice. Cecilia assured us that they would take care of everything logistically and the did and more. I was completely stressed about having to move everything up...the limo, hair appointment, make-up, but it all worked out beautifully. I got my hair and make up done a Wabi Sabi (its on their website) and they did an awesome job. The flowers they provided (which were all real) were absolutly gorgeous!!!! The cake, the food and the photogragher were all very impressive. We were a bit worried getting all this done through one place (Tropical Beach Weddings) but I am telling you we had NO complaints. Mike does a lot of the cooking, he does the ceremony, and he is a pretty good DJ also. Cecilia does most of the decorating and coordinating and is a true talent. Sorry for going on and on but once again I CAN NOT say enough good about them. I dont know which package you are purchasing but you will be completely happy with them planning your ENTIRE wedding. Thanks for the re-assurance. Congratulations to you also!!!!! I'm glad to hear that your wedding turned out so great even with the day change. So far we have been very happy with Cecilia and Mike. We have had a little trouble getting in touch with Belinda (cake lady) though. Did you do any of the reception decorations through Cecilia? If so would you be able to send me pictures? My email is kim8ak at gmail dot com. We got the deluxe package so we will also be staying in the Crimson Tide. We live in Texas and probably will not be able to get to the house before the wedding and we really dont know how we should go about decorating.

Also, did you do any food substitutions? My fiance and I really dont want the shrimp or crab. We were hoping for something hot.

We did the delux package also. As bad as this sounds we let them do EVERYTHING! The did all the decorating and everything. I think my mom did a few things but it was mostly done by Cecilia. You will not be disappointed in the house what-so-ever. The reception is in the bottom of the house so its a little crammped but there is plenty of room to move around the house from upstairs to downstairs. We never delt with the cake lady we just talked to Cecilia and she coordinated that. I will try to send you some pictures soon. I do not have them loaded on my PC anymore. We did have the luxury of seing the house in person before the wedding but all it did was make us more anxious. We didnt do any food substitutions but my mom and friends made some extra food for the people that didnt want what they catered. We actually upgraged to the Haiwian them reception and LOVED all that food. We werent big seafood lovers either.
