Entertainment:
San Francisco Shopping Centre
845 Market StSan Francisco, CA, United States
"Has tons of cute stores, a movie theater (leather chairs!), papa beard cream puffs, and Nordstroms on the top four levels complete with a Nordstrom spa. It's also about a block away from the Metreon and two to three blocks away from Union Square in the other direction. Close to all kinds of public transportation and parking garages."
Attraction:
Palace of Fine Arts
3301 Lyon StSan Francisco, CA, United States
"Recently renovated and unveiled this summer!"
Attraction:
Twin Peaks
Twin Peaks, San Francisco, CASan Francisco, California, US
"With views from Bernal Heights to the tip of the Golden Gate. Twin Peaks gives you views down Market Street and across the bay. There's a parking lot and trails, so along with your camera remember to bring a sweater because it gets pretty windy up there."
Recreation:
Baker Beach
Baker Beach, San Francisco, CA 94129San Francisco, California, US
"We love the views of the bridge and the ocean from here. Remember to bring sweaters and blankets for our notorious fog!"
Recreation:
Cayuga Park
Cayuga AveSan Francisco, CA 94112
"At Cayuga and Naglee you can find one of the best kept secrets in the city (just like "Little Lombard"). A perfectly, ordinary park with a play structure, one tennis court and one basketball court. Behind that is a field where the holes are so big you learn to accept those hard hit grounders that will start on the ground and end up at your shoulder (or your face - so watch out!). Oh yeah, and BART runs right above you - you learn the schedule very well... Nestled in between the two is a secret garden combining nature, stories, generations and art. The hand carved wooden statues and immaculately manicured flora and fauna are breathtaking. I love this park, but remember take care of it, because we wouldn't want the secret to get too far out... :)"
Recreation:
Ocean Beach
Ocean Beach, San Francisco, CA 94122, US
"You can walk it, bike it, run it or drive it (down the Great Highway, of course!). We've had many a picnics, bike rides, volleyball games and bonfires here. The Cliff House restaurant (the one that burned down like 3 times) is on the North end and the SF Zoo is on the South end. We like eating at the Beach Chalet (right across from the main parking lot). There's a Safeway across the street (@ Fulton) and also an entrance into Golden Gate Park via the Polo Fields and the humongous windmill."
Recreation:
San Bruno City Park
1125 Crystal Springs RdSan Bruno, CA, United States
"If you're still around, we'd love to have you join us for a potluck barbecue on Saturday, July 25, 2009!"
