New Westminster, BC, Canada < change city >

May, 2011 in New Westminster

"We had an amazing wedding. Everything went smoothly! We went to a couple great spots for photos. We went to the city hall Japanese gardens on Royal and 4th(i think) for a couple minutes until it started to pour rain. Then, we made it down to the parkade on the quay and got some amazing photos."

"Located at 714 Columbia Street in New Westminster, BC. Just a little corner store but they have great flowers. My flowers were gorgeous, exactly like the picture I gave them and all fora very reasonable price."

Theresa Rose Photography

Chilliwack, BC, Canada

"Theresa was amazing. Very accomodating and always got back to my email super quick. She's probably one of the nicest people I've met. She did a great job on our engagement and wedding photos and was very, very affordable as far as wedding photographers go. She's located out in Chilliwack but she had no problem coming out to Surrey and New West. We couldn't be happier with our photos and would Highley recommend her!"

Wedding Fashion Vendor:

MJM Weddings

South Surrey,

"MJM was a cute little shop a lady had at the side of her house. I went there b/c I knew she had a dress that I wanted. Once you do your research and narrow down exactly what looks good on you and what you want. Going to MJM is great to see if they have what you are looking for. Everything is very, very reasonable and you get a private 2 hour appointment time. She offers to get dresses made as well. I also got our bridesmaid dresses from her and had them made. They only took 2 months to come in and the more you get, the cheaper they are. She was also very easy to contact."

"We're members here so of course we wanted to get married at our own church. It's a beautiful church. There is no centre aisle so it was a tad awkward walking down the aisle but still really great. The minister is also really great :-)"

Centennial Lodge, Queens Park

"Super great place to have a wedding reception! Very affordable ($763) and they set up and take down the tables and chairs. It holds 130 people, but more like 80-100 comfortably. We had about 85 people and it was perfect. The people that work in the office are extrememly helpful (I would call them all the time with questions). No candles are allowed (they will make an exception for just at dinner time as long as the flame is covered. We just used LED tealights."

Inn At The Quay, New Westminster

"Very nice hotel. We got the "do not disturb" package and I didn't think that was really worth the money we paid...but the hotel room was very nice and they were very easy to deal with."
