Hi Nicole,

Our experience at Twin Oaks was absoutley wonderful. The staff there is is so helpful and everything turned out just as I planned. Mike and I both have very laid back attitudes and I am not the kind of girl that really wanted to plan a huge wedding myself - Karen was really helpful in this resepct, she kept me on track to focus on the really important details and helped me not get overwhelmed with the smaller details.

I would think that Twin Oaks would be a perfect place to plan your wedding at long distance becuase Karen and her staff are pretty much full blown wedding coordinators. What mike and I liked most was that we didnt worry about a thing once we arrived - they took care of everything. they answered all questions that needed to be answered and never bothered Mike or I. Our wedding had over 200 people, so he and I had a lot of people that we needed to talk to and I was worried about spending time tying up loose ends that day.

Aside from the great service and beautiful venue, their price was very reasonable as well - much more affordable than any other place i looked into in San Diego.

I think you will be really happy having your wedding there - the grounds are awesome. I just never liked the idea of having my wedding in a ballroom and on the beach can be really difficult, so Twin Oaks was just what i wanted. Our families are still raving about how great the wedding was.

Let me know if you want to seesome of our pictures and if you need help with any other vendors, I was really happy with all the vendors I used (by the way, Becky, the cake person that Karen uses, is great too - i never did a tasting, but our caked looked like exactly what i told her and tasted really good too).
