Hello Megan - The venue is beautiful and our wedding went off wonderfully however - I am a meeting planner and used many of my associates to make it all run smoothly.

When I first contracted with them - I had a Special Event coordinator who had been there many years and was great to work with. After not hearing back from multiple emails from her I contacted another person at Mount Pleasant - turns out they were hiring for a new Special Event coordinator, but had not sent communication to let me know... I had to follow up MONTHS later to learn who the new coordinator was (again no communication) then after not getting responses from an email I had sent to the new coordinator I called her - only to find out from her that she had been fired - VERY AWEFUL. Contacted MP again to find out who to talk to now. They were not going to have a new coordinator and thus put me in touch with a different staff member. The correspondence from them was not prompt - so slow and unorganized that I was basically stalking my contact the day before the reharsal to finalyze the rehearsal menu details since they had not gotten back to me.

Let me say again - the venue was beautiful and everything worked out great - but I did have an on-site wedding planner for the day of to make sure everything went smoothly.
