Band:
Mojo
Oxon Hill, MD, USA"Mojo is one of the best live classic rock bands in Northern Virginia. They arrive early to set up, bring all equipment and clean up afterwords. Great female and male vocalists and very talented bass, drum and guitar players. This 6 person band is provides great entertainment and music you can dance to."
Cakes/Candies Vendor:
Cakes By Design
Vienna, VA, USA"Debbie Delardibrought to life a cake from a photo I found in a magazine. With tiny gold drabbles and white iced leaves and branches, this Almond/Raspberry cake was stunning with orchids trailing down the side. It was also delicious! Debby delivered the cake herself and ensured that the caterer put it in the refrigerator due to her concerns about the cake melting in the unusually hot weather."
Florist:
The Enchanted Florist
Oxon Hill, MD, USA"The Enchanted Florist is expensive, but does excellent work. They did a beautiful job creating wedding bouquets and flower arrnagements that were unusual and stunning, but still elegant and special. They worked with me to determine my style and preferences, looking at sample photos of arrangements I found online and adding their own ideas and suggestions."
Officiant:
Weddings By Lance
7900 Andrus Rd # 12Alexandria, VA, United States
"Even though Lance does not know my husband and I personally, he interviewed us and worked with us to come up with a non denominational ceremony we were both comfortable with. A week or two before the wedding he reviewed our plans and let me know that I needed to add a few things to make the ceremony a bit longer since I wanted the ceremony to last at least 20 minutes. We added lighting a candle and trading wine glass. On the day of the wedding Lance came early, dressed appropriately and stayed after the ceremony to greet my guests. He did a fantastic job officiating. He's clearly very comfortable with an audience and improvised several areas of the wedding when things did not go as planned. For example, our flower girl handed her bouquet to the best man after her brother, the ring bearer handed the rings to the best man. Lance made light of this and my veil blowing off due to a heavy breeze."
Photographer:
Twilight Images
Oxon Hill, MD, USA"Melody Smith is aa Virginia are photographer whose photos are fresh, exciting, classic and artistic. Melody and her co-photographer took about 2,000 photos of my wedding and reception over a 5 hour time period. All of the shots are terrific! She captured fantastic detail and lighting of my dress, flowers, food, table arrangements, and guests. She captured some lovely candid shots that were full of expression. She's friendly, responsive and easy to work with."
Wedding Fashion Vendor:
LoK Custom Fashions
60 Susa Dr # 107Stafford, VA, United States
"Marie King Located at: 60 Susa Drive, Ste 107. Stafford, VA 22554 Did a fantastic job on my beautiful August Jones dress. The dress arrived only 2 weeks prior to the wedding and needed to be taken in on the sides and shortened. This was no easy task since the bottom is strewn with very delicate lace and bead work. Marie was able to make all the adjustments with just two fittings. It looked perfect."

Oxon Hill Manor
6901 Oxon Hill RdFort Washington, MD 20745

"Oxon Hill Manor is by far one of the most beautiful and unrecognized Venues in the Washington DC Metro region. Situated in back of National Harbor, high on a hill, the building is gorgeous inside, requireing little decoration to enhance the curving staircase, black and white tiled foyer, and light yellow walls with tapestries. The house has French doors following the permimeter of a garden and patio with two fountains. Best of all, the property is run by the MD Parks association and is not terribly expensive to rent compared to most venues."
