This walk goes along many of the mansion properties that were owned by the early socialites of the late 19th and early 20th century - the Astors, Vanderbilts, et al. If the weather cooperates, this can be a great place to relax and get some great views of the Atlantic Ocean. You can park on Memorial Blvd. which is metered. For those who are not up for a walk, but still would like to view the great history of this area, there are many guided tours (either self or with a guide) available. We have included these links to help your search. http://www.newportmansions.org/page3554.cfm http://www.newportchamber.com/ Fpr those who do not want to go for a walk, you can take a scenic drive down Bellevue Avenue to Ocean Drive."
